Instead of forward-facing LEDs as in a conventional panel, the FlapJack's LEDs are mounted around the outer edge, facing inward to layers of diffusion material. Instead of a direct beam, the FlapJack's reflected light approach produces a soft, even glow with no hot spots . It's perfect for filling in shadows, or using as a glamorous light.
The light is fully dimmable, without changing the color temperature, from 10 to 100% . The light is also bi-color allowing you to adjust the color temperature from a 3200k tungsten amber to 5600k daylight white . A backlit LCD indicator shows brightness level, color temperature and battery status.
Internal bouncing light is easier on the eyes - your subject can look directly at the light without any discomfort . The Flapjack is also perfect for tabletop or product photography. Enjoy the look of big soft light without blending in your subject!
Fotodiox C-1500RSV has an extra large light surface, its size reaches up to 31.5" (80cm) with the adjustable stand to adjust the angle of the light when needed. The light color ranges from 5600K at 3200K and illuminance drops from 100% to 10%.Large rear LCD display screen shows color temperature, light intensity and DMX address.It is AC powered with external AC adapter or optional battery power through the V-Lock mount battery plate on the back of the light.
