Batteries may not be the most exciting components, but they are indispensable to almost everything we do. With a multitude of options available and a limited number of lithium-ion cell manufacturers, choosing the ideal battery can be complex, especially for budget models.
The Rolux Dynasty III uses Samsung 35E 18650 lithium-ion cells. The Samsung INR 18650-35E is currently one of the highest-performing cells on the market.
Most cells are manufactured by companies like Sony, Samsung, and Sanyo. Other manufacturers, such as ANSMANN AG, produce cells for bebob. Regardless of the manufacturer, cells are categorized into three levels: A, B, and C. The lower the level, the less expensive the cell, but its performance is obviously lower.
Very few companies selling batteries actually disclose which cells are used in their batteries.

Two D-Tap outputs allow powering lights, a monitor, a recorder, or other accessories. They are both located on the top of the battery and deliver 14.4V and 10A.
The USB-C and USB-A ports are also located on the top of the battery.
The USB-C port (bidirectional PD 2.0 and PD 3.0) allows recharging the battery via a USB-C PD compatible device or powering and recharging other devices, such as a laptop or phone. This USB-C port offers 65W bidirectional PD fast charging and can provide up to 100W of power.
You can use the USB-C and USB-A outputs simultaneously.
The DC 8V can provide 8.4V 2A (max) and the DC 12V can provide 12V 2A (max). You can use these outputs with a cable that connects to a dummy battery to power certain mirrorless cameras.
