Softtube for an ASTERA Helios or Titan tube

These Softtube kits are designed for ASTERA Helios and Titan tubes and give the user the ability to create a soft source by adding a diffusing accessory.

The kit contains two end caps, a set of SpacerClips, and enough hook and loop for one diffusion. Simply add the diffusion of your choice (we find that a 400 or Magic Cloth works well).

The end caps screw onto the tubes using the eye bolts found in the Astera kit, and the 3/8 thread in the center of the end caps means it can be attached horizontally by securing both ends, or vertically using one end. The included SpacerClips are used to reinforce the center of the four tubes, giving it more strength.

Vents on each end cap help prevent the tube from overheating by facilitating airflow when fully enclosed in the diffusion, and an access point large enough for four charging cables means you can use it without worrying about battery life. Please keep an eye on the temperature when using AC power and at full power on all tubes.

When not in use, the end caps are held neatly together using strong magnets in a Global3d.uk drawstring bag.
