Rosco Labs and DMG Lumière have announced a new LED kit that will be integrated into the MIX universe: The DASH Pocket Light.
The French manufacturer DMG Lumière, based in Lyon, continues to expand its range of LEDs and reaffirms its commitment to faithful color rendering and a design designed for video applications in the most varied conditions.
DASH DMG MIX Technology
The DMG DASH integrates the 6-LED WA+RGBL chipset already present in the DMG/ROSCO MiX range. It makes it possible to obtain whites ranging from 1700K to 10,000K with an excellent colorimetric rendering of 95+ and TLCI greater than 90, it can also faithfully reproduce more than 130 True Rosco Color ™ gelatin references.
DASH local or wireless control
DMG DASH can be controlled via its built-in menu options and jog dial, or via Bluetooth using the myMIX® app. Modes include Freeze, White, Color, Effects, and Source Match.
Durable and weather resistant
The DASH is designed for use in all weather conditions thanks to the solid aluminum alloy housing, DMG DASH can deliver high performance in harsh filming environments.
Essential accessory the DMG DOT
A silicone half-globe diffuser that envelops the DMG DASH, creating a beautiful round light. This optional accessory is perfect as an eye light, for adding a splash of color in a table spot, or for picture use (in the field)
DASH: kits, accessories and availability
Each DASH kit includes:
- a set of magnetic quick-release diffusers: flat, domed and eggcrate
- Gelatin holder
- Ball joint and camera fixing.
- USB power and charging cable
- Carry pouch
The Kit Quad includes four DASH kits, a carrying case and a LINK accessory to attach the four lights together.
The DASH will be available in the spring at €239 for a single kit and €1099 for the Quad kit.
